Dr. Pierce’s Research

Dr. Pierce’s doctoral dissertation’s foci was researching past, current, and future leadership practices. In this endeavor he traced the emergence of empirically (research) based leadership development (LD) from the 1950s through the last meta-analysis (thorough investigation) of LD. From this research and conducting interviews with current LD practitioners, Dr. Pierce emerged several different findings—implications for both practice and research. Another focus of his research was how LD is situated in the ever-evolving digital world. From these research findings, IVC has the underlying knowledge and insight to most effectively provide any individual, group, or organization with their leadership solutions.
